I had the intention to write after watched Anger Management (2003) Blu-Ray, a romantic-comedy film, starring Adam Sandler n Jack Nicholson. Its a nice story about Dave Buznik (Sandler) who is a mild-mannered businessman (aiyah, i’m not gonna review the whole story, read here for full synopsis). And I realized that I am that type of person – implosive anger. Kept too much anger all by myself, until tidbit is enough to burst ‘em out.
As time passes by, I learnt and managed to control my anger, my hot temper. I agreed with Aristotle when he said:
“Anyone can become angry – that is so easy.
But to become angry with the right person,
to the right degree,
at the right time,
for the right purpose,
and in the right way – that is not so easy.”.
Because I still failed to do so, yet still trying.
I do thought, did Malaysia have such programme? Perak did initiated the Anger Management Programme back in ’04 with the intention to diminish emotional feelings and physiologival arousal that anger causes. Did they still hold this programme? If anyone heard about this programme being held anywhere, do let me know.
How I suppress my anger?
I express it, (of course) to the person i angry with, with controlled emotion, and stated clearly to him/her the reasoning. Thus, create a debate that turns us into a better person.
Otherwise, i just kept it to myself, forgive and forget, admitting that people do make mistakes.
